You’ve probably found aMYLK because you need it on some level. aMYLK is a powerful healer and nourisher and it attracts people who are looking to live healthier, happier lives.
aMYLK is the best commercially available plant-based mylk anywhere. I know a little about this, because I’m aMYLK’s number one fan. It's been a while since I've talked about my why and we have some new community members, so let's talk aMYLK!
Why do I love aMYLK?
The flavor, texture and richness of aMYLK floods my body with pleasure in a way that few other products can. When I drink aMYLK, I cannot help but feel Nourished, Loved, Present and Happy.
Why does aMYLK exist?
Due to pollutants, environmental contaminants, increased stress and other reasons, our bodies are more inflamed than ever and illness is at an all time high. Excess dairy, sugar and carbs found in the average American diet can lead to inflammation and food sensitivities. I was sick and I needed healing. I removed dairy from my diet, but I couldn't find a plant-based option that actually tasted good and was made with healthy ingredients, so I decided to make my own.
What problem does aMYLK solve that other brands can't?
Today's plant-based milk options are plentiful, but they may or may not be good for our bodies. Because many of these products are mostly made of water, they don't taste very good, so companies add gums and sweeteners to make them palatable. Often these products are packaged in plastic and containers that are not environmentally friendly. (Note: many plant-based milk options come in boxes. These aseptic containers are not truly recyclable and most end up in the land fill.)
My raw and unpasteurized non-dairy mylks are made with Love by hand from a short list of clean, intentionally sourced, organically grown artisanal ingredients.
aMYLK is pure. We never add any gums, emulsifiers, oils, or synthetic ingredients and each of my mylks are made with at least 25% nuts compared to the 2-5% typically found in other plant-based milks. As a result, an 8 oz glass of almond aMYLK contains 8 grams of protein, and only 2 grams of total carbohydrates vs. Silk's 1 gram of protein and 1 gram of total carbohydrates.
aMYLK is bottled in reusable glass. Our return rate has recently been as high as 92%! This means we are keeping bottles (and labels) out of the landfills and reducing the amount of energy needed to recycle and recreate more bottles.
