It can be dark and rainy in the Pacific Northwest for a good part of the year, and I love it. Mostly. My favorite escape is remote, wild Hawaii. When I cannot hop on a plane, I drink aloha aMYLK. It's like paradise in a bottle. Think sandy bare feet, foraging for tropical fruits in the back yard, heavy rainstorms pelting the rooftop in the evenings, uncompromised stargazing from your outside shower, jean cutoff shorts, roads you cannot cross without a Jeep, falling asleep to jungle sounds, waking up to chickens, sunny beaches, waves crashing over lava rocks, sea turtles and monk seals sleeping next to you on the sand, a much slower pace, no make-up and curly, messy wind-blown hair.  You feel mellow and energized at the same time.
